Exemplar Cinerators?

Nothing like a bit of rampant speculation.

New Exemplar unit makes me make happy noises (despite trepidation at having to paint more armour trim), but what the heck are they?
We’ve had about a week now to consider them, so…
At that price for five models, it’s a fair assumption that we’re talking medium bases – possibly a variant on the Bastions. If so, what will they do?
Rampant speculation here has suggested everything from an Exemplar/Cleanser hybrid (unlikely, I think, due to risk of making the Cleansers redundant) to flying monkeys. Seriously, check it out – flying monkeys.
I’m thinking a melee unit, though how they earn their name is up in the air.
One theory is that they have weapons that work like the Avatar’s sword – they’re immune to fire themselves, and when they kill a target it explodes in a 3″ AoE.
Another is that they pack a mini version of Ashes to Ashes, possibly plausible since the High Reclaimer has A2A (Darn, but I love that spell) and the standard Reclaimer weapon is, in fact, called a cinerator. Spurious linkage FTW! Maybe they have Reclaimer-style cinerator – so Reach – and then it turns victims into ash clouds, meaning the unit can screen themselves.
Then there’s these guys…

They’re knights of some variant, with what look like that could be a flamepike variant of some sort. The guard is particularly interesting… though do these guys really look big enough to be on medium bases, if that’s small-based Voyle right there? Admittedly, we never saw Voyle on a base, but all the same…
So yeah… Exemplar Cinerators, making Protectorate players mess their shorts since 11/04/09.
What do you think they’ll do?
They are going to have little to no armour look like spartans so the are fast and run every where. Oh yeah they are going to have the soulstrom ability and command 10 so they can spread out and cause uber running death.
I am excited to see what these guys are about. May even make a second unit of Bastions redundant (yeah, right).
I think they will end up being a Bastion styled unit with different weapons (bigger Cinerators).
Kinda fun to speculate, but I am sure whatever we can think of, Privateer will be able to surpass. They have already done it, and since Kara Sloan’s pic is up, well…. yeah.
‘10 is looking like a very good, if not expensive, year.
I’m guessing “fire” and “screw your opponent for killing them” will be listed on the card somewhere.
“Whenever a model destroys a Cinerator, that model suffers the Fire continuous effect.”
My wild speculation is that they will remove $45 from my bank account.
That isn’t wild speculation, that is pretty much fact.
They’re actually just regular Knights that have been lit on fire. Or maybe they’re knights that wield Wracks! that are on Fire and explode when they hit someone! and then they have to kill a trooper model to ‘reload’.
