Okay, so we’ve established that I’m Australian. I grew up with Christmas on the beach, being cold in July and never having owned ice skates, skis, or a toboggan.
Now that I live in Canuckland, where stereotyping insists that I’m surrounded by igloos and waving hi to my morning polar bear, I’ve developed somewhat of an attachment to the accoutrements of the Winter Wonderland, and it’s affecting my preference in models.
Case in point: Armoured gloves with a rounded plate over the back of the hand. I don’t care if there are visible fingers or not, these are all categorised in my head as mittens.
