Batman’s a lazy bum

Okay, so check this out:

It’s a minute-long clip from a 1982 Italian … film.. , “Batman from the planet Eros”. You can figure out what type of movie it was from there. I found it on Occasional Superheroine’s blog.

So… they’re doing a film about Batman’s… prowess… and they showcase this by having him ride a bicycle downhill without using the pedals… and then when he gets to the bottom of the hill, he gets off the bike to push it uphill, without even putting in a token effort to pedal uphill… way to showcase his stamina!

To add to the inanity, there’s a well established road through the paddock… which “Batman” ignores as he rides his bike around the tree and through who knows how many cowpats…

Am I the only one boggled by this??

Since the last DoV at HK was 500pt Mangled Metal/Tooth And Claw format, I’ve been sitting here thinking of what I might have taken for the Protectorate of Menoth.

Who’s in the pulpit? (Choosing a warcaster)

While Servath Reznik is generally recognised as one of the better options in terms of Warjack-based ‘casters for Menoth, I don’t own the figure, so I can’t factor him into the equation; Basing it on models I own, that leaves me with a handful of options.

- The High Reclaimer? As useful as Burning Ash would be, his efficacy is pooched without troops to draw Focus from.
- The Harbinger of Menoth? Don’t have her assembled yet, and Martyrdom’s troop only.
- Feora, Protector of the Flame? If I had Repenters or a Castigator to help feed her feat, sure, but I have neither.

I don’t own either version of Kreoss, so that leaves Grand Scrutator Severius and High Allegiant Amon Ad-Raza.
