Say it with flowers
November 4, 2008I don’t care how macho you are, there’s something special about the giving and receiving of flowers. It says “I know these things will be compost in a week, but I think enough of you to spend my money on them despite their short life span”. Sure, it could also say “I didn’t want to give you anything lasting”, but when it comes to flora I’m a glass-half-full kinda guy.
Regardless, I just wanted to say happy birthday to the third member of the Lost Hemisphere triumvirate, the Eponymous Pablo… so I said it with a flower. 
Spud provided an amazing Mocha Army cake – For those not in the know, a Mocha Army cake is pretty similar to a Mocha cake, it just has an assortment of army cards jammed into the icing. In this case it was a cake surrounded by a platoon of SHIELD Agents, with Squirrel Girl lurking in the fudge.
