Gday is basically just not a very good person, and decided it wouldn’t matter if his loyal fans– who he refers to as simply “The Unwashed”– got their Friday match report or not. Well, that may be okay with him, but I carry myself to a higher standard, so I’m here to make up for his cruelty and disdain.

Heralds/Speed Force (Spud) vs. JLA/Thunderbolts (Gday)
Spud wins the dice roll and takes evens.
Gday opens the game by bringing out an unchallenged Speed Demon, who swings direct for a singleton.
Spud’s first recruit of the game is Silver Surfer – Skyrider, while Gday gets a counter on Demon and hits Zatanna to draw a card. Spud swings into Speed Demon, but Gday pseudo-evades with Speedball Is Dead. Spud considers swingint through Zatanna for a dual, but doesn’t want to risk a powerup, so the combat happens in the other direction and the players move to recovery. Before leaving the turn, Spud plays Kindred Spirits to put Air-Walker and Human Torch on top of his deck.
