The Composite Superheroine Contest
For this week’s Thursday Thirteen I thought I’d try a little something different.
I’m not going to give you a list of thirteen things.
Rather, I’m going to give you this image, comprised of pieces of thirteen different superheroines that are features in the VS System card game.
Over the course of the next week, I’ll be accepting email submissions at gdaybloke@SPAMcogeco.ca (No spam, of course) and PM’s at VS Realms.
Those who can correctly identify all thirteen superheroines, including the original card’s name and version, shall be entered into a pool; one of those lucky sods shall receive as a reward for their diligence a copy of the first place prize for the recent DCL Build-A-Legend event, Parallax: Embodiment of Fear, with juicy art by Jonboy Meyers. Should no-one have all the answers, the pool will be made of all those with the most correct answers. In other words, a partial entry is better than no entry at all…
The winner will be announced in next week’s Thursday Thirteen.

wow. I’ve got 5 right off the bat, but i’m struggling on the next 8. Great Idea! This’ll be fun to work on over the next few days.

That’s weird and neat at the same time. I don’t any of these folks - so it’s super cool to me that there are superheros in the world that I know nothing about. hee hee - maybe they are working on my behalf??

Sadly, I can only recognise about 8 of them, if that.
I joined the game at MMK/MAV, so I am a little shaky on some of them.
Well, you can always go trolling through VSed… hee…
Are these all actually superheroines or are some supervillains? Also, I have some trouble distinguishing between what the 13 parts are at times.

I don’t know what the VS System is, so I wouldn’tbe much god at this contest.
Pi, some of the pieces come from characters who have, at some point, been villains… but all have been heroes.

This contest is hellishly hard, curse your soul, and I spent over an hour cruising Vsuniverse.com’s card database trying to find all of them. I’ve only got 8 right now. Only 5 left, and I think I’ve either imagined a pattern, or found one. Not sure yet.

Yar, no SPAM in the email address. It’s a little extra step to stop webcrawling spambots from trying to convince me that cialis is the answer to all of my problems, and I can get access to Russian women looking for love if only I take out a mortgage with these people.
